He’s here

After I wrote my last entry we headed over to the hospital because she went from 4 to 6 cm and when we arrrived she was 7cm she stayed seven cm for a while and they started her on Pitocin to get the contractions coming closer and steady. They started setting up the room and covering everything to make sure it stayed sterile. They also brought in this bassinet that had a huge light that for some reason reminded me of grow lights .She also got an epidural. The epidurals are done different now with you having a button to push to slowly have the medicine drip in you. It took forever for her bag to break but when it did everything moved so quickly. I told her as soon as your water breaks everything is going to go quickly and it did. Unfortunately she felt alot of pain and it wasn’t like when she had her first baby and felt nothing. she got a little scared but we reassured her that everything was alright and that this pain was going to go away as soon as she pushed the baby out. after pushing once the head was out and the second push she delivered the baby. I told her see he was born quickly. SO Gabriel came into this world at 12:58am on July 10 and weighed 7lbs and 8oz and was 19 inches long. He has alot of black curly hair and had the chubbiest cheeks you can ever imagine and he looks alot like his older brother. Congrats Trish and Gill
