I want to get a nice camera that doesn’t have such a delay in taking pictures. I have wanted a Digital SLR camera for the longest time but I had no Idea that most slr camera’s dont have liveview. I guess I got so used to the point and shoot camera’s having it that I was shocked to find out that most slr’s dont have that feature.

I am probably going to have to wait till income tax time and see if I can get one. So I guess for now I have to settle for my crappy point and shoot camera and order a few more compact flash cards cause I seem to have misplaced the ones I had. I hate it that my stuff keeps dissappearing from where I put them.
Either my kids are getting into my stuff or we have a ghost that likes to take things. I think the first one is more likely the case here.

haha! I know, that whole live view thing is pretty shocking!
But check this out, when my hubby bought me that new point and shoot for Xmas? I kept putting my eye up against it to take pictures! LMBO! Everyone kept laughing at me. I’m so used to my DSLR and looking through that little whole that it’s just automatic when I want to take a picture. So it took a little getting used to.

I sold my camera so I’m sending that off this week and I’m buying a new cam with tax return sometime next month too. I can’t wait. I’m ready for a new and challenging cam. *hehe*

Good luck with yours! I’m so excited for you! You’ll love your DSLR. Whatever you decide to go with. Any idea what yet?

Oh, and if you want live view… some DSLR’s do! A great beginner DSLR WITH live view is the Canon Xsi (450d). You can enable it or disable it. Might want to check it out. It’s an awesome camera. =)
