I just can’t beleive what we have to go through

My blood is boiling. I thought that racism was gone long time ago but sadly that is not the case.I have witnessed it time and time again with one of my daughters soccer team but I thought it could not be possible. I thought that I was maybe taking offense and seeing things wrong but I jsut got proved that I wasnt seeing things differently. It was because the color of my kids skin that she was treated differently.

I am going to make sure that next year she does not play for this region. I most certainly will be writing to ayso national and letting them know that the commisioner of the league has been nothing but rude and racist the whole time. I am just soo upset that my 10 yeard had to witness such unfair and childish behavior coming from a sports team that is supposed to promote positivity and bonding between kids.

I’m so sorry for what your daughter had to experience. Ugh. I was going to say that i didn’t know that your children are bi-racial, but really, what does it matter? That’s like you saying that you didn’t know that my mother is german and my father is polish. *sigh* You’d think that by 2011 things would be different. 🙁
