Pawdpet ,the first plush protective tech holder that is huggable and loveable

We live in a technology age and it is not surprising that more and more younger children are wanting access to that technology too. What do you do as a parent when your child is begging to use your Iphone or wanting to use your Ipad? I always fearing that my twins are going to break my tablet because its happened before. It slipped out of my little guys hands and that was the end of my beautiful tablet.

I struggle on the daily about letting them use my new tablet, but I must admit my tablet is quite the lifesaver on long trips. The only problem is that it can be a pain literally on my hands holding it up for them to see on long trips. I do plan to get them their own tablet but I don’t want them breaking it before they even really have a chance to enjoy it.

Luckily I heard about the pawdpet and I instantly fell in love with this protective plush tech holder. Pawdpet has a tech safe magnet in its belly that holds up a phone or tablet. When not in use the phone or tablet can be stored in the pawdpet padded back pocket and it even comes with a convenient strap. The pawdpet can lay straight on its back or down on its side.

The thought of the pawdpet saving my electronics from being broken is enough for me to be interested in their kickstarter campaign and you should be too. Besides the cuteness and cuddle appeal there is the safety of not having to replace another broken phone or tablet which is a total win for me.

You can help out pawdpet and with your support, PawdPet will be able to cover the cost of their initial production run. At the Kickstarter goal, they are hoping for completion by Spring 2015 which is when some of us make our spring break travels. Pawdpet’s goal is to provide their customers with a quality product that is cute, functional and practical which are all the things we would want when it comes to our gadgets.

I hope they give us some answers when we go to the appointment

My oldest has an appointment on Wednesday to get a check up on the area where they took her wisdom teeth out. Even a month after the surgery she still has occasional swelling on that side of her mouth. She makes sure she brushes her teeth when she wakes up and whenever she eats any meals. She might not have a bass brush but she does have a good toothbrush and she makes sure she flosses and keeps her teeth clean. I do not know why she is still having complications from the wisdom teeth pulling.

I am glad that the dentist who did the wisdom teeth surgery no longer works at the facility we are going to because if he did, I am sure the next thing you would be hearing is that this momma went to jail for assaulting the dentist who messed up my daughters mouth!!

I am glad she has agreed to back to the dentist and I hope we find out why she is still feeling pain and her mouth still swells on that side.

These girls are giving me grey hairs

Having two teenage girls under one roof can be tough sometimes. Even though they are 4 years apart and hate to admit they are anything alike, those two have more in common than they want to realize. One thing that makes it hard for me to deal with is their constant moodiness. I do not remember being such a moody teenager. Every single time they are asked to do anything we get the eye roll or the whatever look or the I am bored look. I cannot wait until their grouchiness and moodiness is over.

My boys seem so much easier to deal with right now and they are my hyper active ones. I just don’t know whether to let the girls be and just give them their space right now or go to my room and take a deep breath and go back to dealing with shenanigans. Oh mu goodness being a parent to teenage girls can be so hard at times. I wonder if that is how my mom felt when I was their age?

I just love showing up for their special day

Spring will be here in a couple of months and one of my favorite things about spring is all the cool weddings that go on. I know some of my friends spend a year or two just in the planning stages to make sure that their wedding goes without a hitch. One of the most important things they concentrate on is getting wedding dance lessons santa monica offers great wedding dance lessons and almost all of my friends who have gotten married needed lessons.

The other thing they had to right away was secure a venue. I was so surprised to see that many places reserve the location 2 to three years in advance. It makes sense to reserve your location right away if you have a specific day you want to get married and its a very popular place.

It seems I have become a professional wedding go-er but I can’t help it. I love supporting my friends on their special day and there is a certain beauty about weddings.

Bed rest sucks… so I shall read..

If you have been wondering where I have been.. I am around just laying low and reading books while on bed rest from the emergency gall bladder surgery I had on the 23rd of December. I had went in the night before because I was in a lot of pain and the Er thought I was passing a gall stone so they gave me a shot of morphine and sent me home. A few hours later the pain had returned with a vengeance. I went back to the er and begged to be given a bed and not have to sit down in the waiting room like I did the night before. Thank goodness one of the doctor’s took pity on me and gave me a bed while he requested a CT scan.

As I waited for the Ct scan I tried to concentrate on breathing through the pain and not passing out. I had the chills and hoped someone would take me out of my misery. Luckily a nurse came and pushed my bed to the CT room and did whatever needed to be done. I can hardly remember as I was in too much pain to pay attention. I was wheeled back into the room I was put in and the doctor was already there waiting for me. He informed me that we would be going into surgery and taking out my gall bladder as it was about to burst. Not even five minutes passed after that and they already were wheeling me into surgery.

When I woke up I asked ” Will they be starting surgery soon” and the nurse said “honey you are in recovery and all is done” I was still a little dazed and confused. Once in my room and my vitals checked my surgeon walked in and said you are lucky I happened to be here taking out someone else’s gallbladder. Your gallbladder was ready to burst and you would not have been able to make it a couple more hours like that.

I am so thankful I listened to my gut instincts and went back to the ER instead of waiting for the ” gallstone ” to pass which was not the gall stone passing but my gall bladder getting ready to burst. I am still on bed rest since my body wants to be slow and take its time to heal. Hopefully soon I will be A-okay to resume the shenanigans I usually like to get into.
