Finding a hand soap that will not only leave your hands clean, but also smelling delicious can be quite a hard task. I am constantly washing my hands after doing household duties and taking care of all my kids. With the constant washing of my hands comes the drying of the natural moisture in my hands. One of my biggest factors when buying hand soap is how much moisture will it provide. I also love a hand soap that will leave my hands smelling nice and fresh.

Everyone should be using a conditioning soap when they are using hand soaps. You want to make sure you keep your hands nice and young looking for as long as you can. My mother used to say that you can always tell a woman’s age by the look of her hands. I know I want my hands to say that I look like a teenager even though I am far from there now.

We are huge Disney fans in my house. If Disney movies aren’t playing in our house, someone is singing a Disney song. You better believe my children felt like it was Easter already with the package that UPS delivered us. I have never seen my kids more eager for me to tear open the package and see the pack that came with 4 CD’s. In the cute early Easter pack were these cds…

hop to the music

Frozen: which my girls loved right away. My boys loved singing along too, but I do feel my girls enjoyed singing Let it Go more than my boys did.

Guardians of the Galaxy: Awesome Mix Volume 1: Guardians of the Galaxy was my favorite because I grew up listening to some of these songs. My older kids loved the songs too and my younger twins just had a blast dancing along to their teenage sisters signing. I would say that this cd got the whole family involved.

Disney Junior DJ Shuffle 2: My 6 year old twins claimed this cd as their own and for once they were happy to know most of these songs and got to show their older siblings that they too can sing along and perform just like them. I loved playing the instrumental part and seeing how much of the songs my boys remembered.

Disney’s Into the Woods: Having seen the movie my second oldest daughter right away claimed this cd. She absolutely loved the movie and the songs that went with it. She hopes to be a singer or performer when she grows up and these are the perfect songs to practice singing too. I must admit I do love her singing along to this soundtrack.

Buy: You too can buy Disney cds and many more at the Disney Music Emporium.

Win : Disney Music and Entertainment New Media Network have generously offered to give one Domesticvixen reader their own “Hop to the Music” pack. The Giveaway ends April 4th, 2015!

Insiders-Website_V1

This crazy and confusing weather has done a number on my skin. While mother nature is deciding whether it wants to be hot or cold, I am trying to figure out how to keep my skin moisturized. The cold weather was keeping my skin dry but luckily I was given the opportunity to try out Dial’s Miracle oil restoring body wash that’s infused with marula oil. The day I tried out this body wash, was the day I could say goodbye to my dry skin.

This body wash leaves my skin nice and soft. I was worried at first that I would have my skin feeling oily but that is not the case. The Dial Miracle oil body wash goes on soft and my skin takes in the moisture it needs and when I rinse off my skin feels nice and soft and the fragrance on this body wash is very soft and sweet smelling. I do not feel over powered by the fragrance at all. I also love that it leaves my sons smelling nice and clean, especially after a day of running around and getting all smelly and sweaty. They enjoy having their shower and going to be smelling fresh and clean.

My daughter is looking forward to high school and I am too

We had orientation for my second daughter. She is getting ready to go to high school and orientation day was to see what electives she would like to take and to see all the different programs the school offers. My child being the artistic one of course signed up for choir and cheer and drama and band. Anything involving music and she is there. If doesn’t matter to her if there isLimited availability.
I am sure if her school offered deejay training she would have signed up for that too. I am glad that she is enthusiastic about all the new electives and classes her school is offering but I told her to only sign up for things she is truly going to dedicate time for. I told her if her heart is not going to be in it then don’t do it and give others a chance to enjoy that spot especially if they are going to appreciate it and give it their full attention.

I am looking forward to seeing her perform this year. I truly love my daughters voice and I think all these years of choir have taught her a lot and her voice and singing keeps on getting better and better. I am going to try and record her singing and post it here so all of you guys can enjoy her signing too.

Please let this be the last of it

I don’t know what it is but we have been having a string of unfortunate events. I am so ready for the good luck and blessings to come. In December I had to have emergency gall bladder surgery. I finally recovered from that and last Sunday we got rear ended. My back and neck and part of my head got messed up. The doctor thought it might be a concussion due to the whiplash. I have been dealing with that pain and if I didn’t feel shitty enough, I find out that my bank account was compromised. I have fraudulent charges on my account and my account has been frozen while they investigate and send me a new card.

We also got a ticket in the mail for being on the fastpass express lane on the freeway when I am pretty sure we changed lanes before the express lane started. I am so ready to have all these things be the end of bad and unfortunate events. My stress level is through the roof and I am sure that is not good for the high blood pressure that the doctor thinks I have. Which in turn reminds me that I need to schedule a physical for myself. I have already scheduled physicals for the girls, I need to get the boys and myself done too.
